Important updates 🇱🇹

Hey everyone,

We have finally got the Lithuanian situation stabilised and ready to share news.

First of all the procedure has changed only from employer's side, from you there won't be any new requirements, however it's our duty to inform you what is new so that you will have a full understanding of how that's going to work.

As it's been before:

  1. Employer is preparing contract and accommodation letter.

  2. Proceeding to the mediation letter fill up.

  3. Providing full paperwork and applicant is good to go.

What's going to be happening now:

  1. Employer is preparing contract and accommodation letter.

  2. Proceeding to the mediation letter fill up.

  3. Getting an invoice for the pay of services.

  4. Paying.

  5. Migration is receiving funds and starts verification process

  6. If everything is fine getting approved on the application.

  7. Employer is providing a full package of files.

  8. A day before Migris registration from the applicant's side employer upon request is giving one more approval and applicant is good to go.

In addition to that the Migration department has closed an opportunity to extend the files as many processes are getting delayed with no reason and apply an extra fee to each change that is needed to be placed after the mediation letter is done. However there should be nothing to worry about as the payment for change don't have to be related to you as soon as you provide correct information in a timely manner and still if the mistake was placed from the employer's side it's going to be fixed on the employer's expense.

However as you understand it's going to delay the issue of files, processing time will change from 3 days to about 1,5 weeks for an additional actions which are now required.

As soon as you are ready to register your applicant at Migris platform please inform us

These changes were applied to add an extra verification from the employer's side to avoid cases of illegal migration and secure applicants from not genuine employers.
